Method for adjusting the tightness of lathe spindle bearing
Before adjusting the lathe spindle bearing, be sure to disconnect the power supply and ensure that the lathe is in the off state; clean the spindle and bearing area, and remove the protective cover according to the lathe model until the bearing can be seen; use a special wrench to check whether the bearing lock nut is loose. Use a micrometer to measure the spindle radial runout and ensure that the value is within the allowable range. After the adjustment is completed, you can add a certain amount of lubricating oil or grease to keep the bearing lubricated in good condition. Reinstall the disassembled parts and protective cover, and manually rotate the spindle to see if the bearing is working smoothly and whether there is any abnormal noise. Start the machine for trial operation and monitor the operation of the lathe spindle.
